“In this kingdom, weapons grow from trees… and you have finally cut them all down.”
A dark fantasy third-person action game. You are Eryndor Vale, the royal executioner, until the axe in your hands begs you to spare a child. Rebel against the crown, uncover the secret of the Ironbloom Grove, and decide what to do with the souls trapped in living steel.
There is no public download yet. A Windows build is in internal testing; storefront links will appear here when a release is announced.
In the Kingdom of Veyrath, weapons are not forged. They grow on the iron-barked trees of the Ironbloom Grove, and the people celebrate every harvest as a blessing. No one asks where the blades come from.
Eryndor Vale has served twelve years as the king's executioner. At the ninth bell of the harvest he raises the Mourning Axe over an orphan accused by the crown, and the axe speaks with the voice of a child. Its name is Lio, and he was planted in the steel when he was ten years old.
Eryndor cuts the chains instead of the child. Hunted by the royal guard, he follows the trail of missing children from the execution yard through the Grove, a cathedral that prepares orphans for “ascension into steel”, mines where the roots are dug like ore and gardens where knights are grown, to the throne of King Odran and the tree at the heart of the crown.
“Are you going to kill the king?”
“No. First, I cut down the forest that made him.”
Light and heavy strikes, dodges, lock-on targeting and executions with the Mourning Axe, a massive cursed blade that speaks to you.
Unlock the Thornlash Blade, Bloomfang Daggers, Rootbreaker Hammer and Crownsplitter, each grown from a stolen soul.
Every boss leaves a Soul Seed. Plant it for a new weapon, feed it to your axe, or set the trapped soul free.
Guilt, mercy and every child you rescue decide whether you become the Iron King, perform the Last Execution, or reach the Thornless Dawn.
From the Headless Captain to King Odran, the Thorn-Crowned, each chapter ends in a boss fight that changes as the battle turns.
Rain-soaked courtyards, blood-red forests, candlelit cathedrals and root-choked mines, with story cutscenes between chapters.
The first rebellion begins where the king expects obedience.
The forest where weapons grow and children vanish.
A holy place built to prepare children for the harvest.
Below the kingdom, the roots are mined like ore.
Where the king grows perfect soldiers.
The king, the forest, and the crown become one.
